THANK YOU: We want to thank all of our friends and visitors who have come to Old McDonald’s Farm in the last few weeks for animal hugging, feeding and outdoor enjoyment! Nothing makes us happier than seeing people enjoy our farm and the animals we love so much.
ONLINE RESERVATIONS: We are still doing online reservations and encourage all guests to reserve a time slot online to visit the farm- please click on the link to make your online reservation. We can accept 50 visitors each hour. We CAN take walk-ins if the hour is not full.
HAYRIDES, DAIRY TOURS, PONY-RIDES and BOUNCE HOUSES: We have had many people ask about when our hayrides, dairy tours, pony-rides and bounce houses will open up again. After much discussion around ensuring the health and safety of our visitors and employees while providing a fun experience for guests, we have decided on the following regarding hayrides, dairy tours, pony-rides and bounce houses:
Hayrides: We are going to continue the “Hay-walk” to feed the cows and pigs in place of the hayride until further notice. There is just no way to ensure social distancing on the wagon while also being time and cost efficient.
Dairy Tours: Similar to the hayrides, there is no way to ensure social distancing on the wagon. However, we can offer a private tours for the same family/ party, which would need to be scheduled in advance. The cost of a private tour would be $30 for up to 15 people, again from the same family or party. Please call us here at the farm if you would like to schedule a private tour. We can begin scheduling these for July 5th and beyond.
Pony-rides: To be on the safe side, we have decided to hold off on doing pony rides for a few more weeks. We feel that Old McDonald’s Farm is a safe, healthy outdoor activity for you and your family during this pandemic, but pony-rides just do not provide an adequate level of social - distancing that we are comfortable with.
We know some people may be disappointed in the continuing unavailability of pony-rides, but we are taking this measure for the health and safety of you and your families and our employees. Thank you for your understanding.
Bounce Houses- Bounce Houses will remain closed until further notice. It is simply impossible to adequately sanitize the bounce houses.
We thank you again for your support of our family business during this time, and for your understanding as to why some of the farm activities are different or not available this year.
Come see us at the farm. Animal hugging is not cancelled!
